Dolphin Watching Season – Dec to May

The 2 and a half hours was excellent, we saw a pod of dolphins outside of 9 Mile Beach and stay a while to watch them play, Julie was telling us all about the area and Oyster leases as we toured the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I was wondering if everyone was over generous with their ratings, until we joined the cruise ourselves and understood why everyone raved about this cruise. Very new and spotless boat, friendly and knowledgeable staff, well organised and of course, they knew where the dolphins were! Just a tip for anyone prone to sea sickness, do come prepared. We were on an On Course tour coach of 34 people. Well planned and run cruise. Great staff very attentive. A very professionally run business. Caters for all ages. They have researched dolphin location before setting out,we saw a pod of over 20. Highly recommend this company.

Cannot fault this excursion whatsoever. Staff were excellent, boat was extremely clean and the trip on itself and everything we saw was fantastic 10/10.

Took some friends visiting from overseas down to Forster. I have been on The Amaroo on many occasions but today was very special. The tide in, the crystal turquoise waters, great friends along for the cruise and crew of The Amaroo were as always excellent. We did the dolphin cruise this morning and it was AMAZING!!! We all had an absolute blast! The crew are helpful, kind, knowledgeable and accommodating! We saw loads of dolphins and other sea creatures as well as all the local spots! I can’t recommend Amaroo Cruises more!!

What an amazing and incredible way to not only explore the beautiful waters of Forster but to see the magic of the dolphins up close the way we did today was an experience i will never forget. We saw dolphins in the river… and we saw two different types of dolphins in the ocean. It was just amazing to watch the bottle-nosed dolphins surfing in the waves at the beach. And it was just as amazing to watch the common dolphins further out in the ocean jumping out of the water and playing. What an absolutely incredible experience!! Suitable for all ages. We loved it, I get a little motion sickness on big vessels but watching these Beautiful creatures of the sea took my mind off it! We captured 4 lots of pods today, great knowledgeable commentary by a lovely lady, the captain was friendly & morning tea ☕️ was included. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
